Will some of them stay short?

28/01/12: Jarred the first males of my F2.
Some clearly show shorter finnage than their sibblings......let's hope they stay short.

Many greetings,

Joep

  1. Hello Joep,
great news and thanks for share the pictures with us. There you have awsome males in the F2 I think. Special the second one is my favorite. He looks better like my F2. He has a really brod dorsale and the membran reduction between the rays in the caudale is great. The third pictures looks a little bit like a female. But Iam not sure because he or she have long ventrals.
But you did a great job and I hope to see males of this spawn live in the future. Great job my friend.

    Best regards
    Axel

  2. Hi Joep,
ups I forgot to answer your questions. Yes you do a step forward, but it can be that the finnage will grow more later. My old CTPK males get more finnage after 8-10 months, but mostly
the rays are growing or the membran reduction will be better.
The most problem I see for our spawns will be a short anal and the membran reduction in the caudal.

    Greetings

when I saw the last update of this spawn I think you will have more than one males with a lot of potencial, and I hope for you that this time the finnage will not grow more. Hope we see updates in the future here my friend. Great job!!!
