CTPK on shows 2012

Hi friends,
my wishes for 2012 are to see CTPK on shows in her own ctpk class. Since this year the bettas4all standard have a own section with a ctpk standard. To see ctpk in a own class is to have 6 registered ctpk from minimum 2 breeders. And I hope the IBC Standard will get a update with this standard, too. I cross my fingers that we see 2012 the first time a own ctpk class on shows.

Im using a fanci CT non red he is blue and yellow and female is hmok full white

fry is in egg stage. with male

what can i expect from this fry?

A lot of work needed to the male fins at the opening, decreased membrane, and body in top line, because in my country is difficult to find good CT and it is difficult bring from other countries.
What we could salvage from this male are the rays, which are complemented by those of the female of the caudal fin, which branches once. The female comes from a line established, parents, siblings have the same features, I hope to complement the top line of the male, I hope marble, red, CT, PK and surprises. For this woman is that I am in this project, which intended to use in my HMPK line, but seeing the little trimmings, I decided to create a line of CTPK.

My latest CTPK Project

Hello friends,
this is my latest CTPK project . The red HMPK male is from arie (NL), the females is from Joep van Esch (NL). The female is CTPK geno.















The male has eaten most the eggs, but I have still about 15 youngsters.

CTPK spawns from other members

Hi friends,
I know a lot of members with author status have her own ctpk projects. It will be great
when you post your own ctpk projects here, too. So we can all learn and see what we
can make better in the future. I think this is very important for all of us to have success
with our lines. I know not all speak english very good, but this is not important.
When we have more projects in this blog, we have more fun and success with this
blog. I hope you understand what I mean.

New spawn MG CTPK

Hi all,
today I start a new spawn with fishes from my lines. I will see that I get
Mustard Gas CTPK in the future. The father is my F4 male which I
showed in Arcen and Duisburg on the shows. The female is a CT with
PK geno and a halfsister of the male and F3.

Next spawn?

Hi friends,
I hope that I have after the IBC Show in Berlin more time for new spawns.
In Duisburg (intern. EHBB Show) I change with Totto a female and got
the first place female of CT females AOC. Now I must see what I make,
Iam not sure what I shall do. what you think? Shall I make a F5 with
a sister of the male (see picture), or a backcross with CT and take
the ct lady from Totto. She is blacklace and has red washed in the
finnage. So it can be nice.

Hi all,
at this time I have a lot of work and not so much time for breeding. I will show
you a collection of my females for ctpk projects. Not all are from my own
spawn, the red ones are from Joep.

Steelblue HMPK (CT geno) x Copper CTPK female (F3)

Hi all,
03th August this year I start a new spawn for experiment. I cross a steelblue HMPK
with CT geno which I got from Markus Bache (Germany) in Dortmund on the IBC
Show us present. I cross them with a F3 copper CTPK female of my own spawn.
The spawn was not big and I had gen defects in this spawn.The most fries had no
ventrals. Only five of them are good. I don´t know what happens, because I didn´t
feed the fries with microworms.
The youngsters are looking a little bit like green metalic but with red washed in the
fins.

Hi all,
in Arcen I got two beautiful CT females with PK geno, or shall I say CTPK.
The spawn you can see here in the blog. Thanks Jope for the fishes. Now
I have a problem. Shall I start a red CTPK Line, or cross this females in
one of my lines. ;) I will see what I make. ^^

Fighter incross for better Anal fins?

what do you mean? The idea is, to cross a fighter male or female in the ctpk line to get shorter Anal fins.

Unfortunately some fish do show quite some curling, but I think these fish still have a nice potential to work further with. Within 1-2 months I hope to spawn some of these fish to obtain the F2 generation.

First CTPK success by Show

Hi all,
I start this year the first time on the internat. IBC Show in Dortmund in the E2 class for breeding pairs

with a copper CTPK pair, and made the 3th. place in this category.
