    thanks for share the videos with us. The
    youngsters grow good and of course they
    are longfins. But the problem what I see,
    they have not a good reduction in their
    fins. So you can get problems in the next
    generations. Special the males show this
    problem, but I cross my fingers for good
    results in the F2 generation. Have luck
    my friend. ;))

  3. Should i use a hmpk again? with some ctpk with noted rays and reduction fin, i have females like that...

    1. Hi Rui,
      that´s a possibility. How Kiel said, the best you
      work with two different lines. Better will be when
      you can get a ctpk female which come out from a
      shortfin spawn. The most problem in ctpk spawns
      will be the reduction in the finnage and long anal
      fins.

  4. You can opt for developing two lines from that...one is an F2 and the other will be outcross to HMPK

  5. I think i will rey that, use the best pair of the fry to go f2 and try, a good female with a hmpk male. Too see how it comes.

    I got some fishes from a breeder that made f1 ctpk, they look like mine and no short fyn alsso... but its new bood..ill give it a try.
